The Puerto Rican sofia jirau became the first model of the women’s underwear brand Victoria’s Secret with Down syndrome, as the young woman announced on Monday on her Instagram social network account.

“One day I dreamed of it, I worked on it and today it is a dream come true. Can I finally tell you my big secret? I am Victoria’s Secret’s first model with Down syndrome! the Puerto Rican pointed out, proud of finally achieving that goal.

This is just the beginning, now it has been formed!”highlighted Jirau, 25, who has already paraded at the local event “San Juan Moda in Puerto Rico.”
“Inside and outside there are no limits, Alavett!”, Jirau points out on Instagram, that in 2020 he also achieved the goal of parading in the “New York Fashion Week”, the renowned catwalk of the American city.
Jirau accompanies the announcement on Instagram posing in a black and white photograph with a bra from the underwear brand.
The Puerto Rican’s announcement on social networks received the support of her followers with thousands of “likes” for what the young woman, who is also a businesswoman, has achieved.
Sofia is part of the new “Love Cloud Collection” inclusion campaign that she shares with models like Hailey Bieber and Taylor Hill.
