The emotion of Antonio Resines when remembering his time in the ICU: “Of 97 people who were, 80 left”

The actor Anthony Resines speaks for the first time on television, as you can see in the video is grateful to health professionals and moved by all the support and affection received.

Although he is still weak, he has spared no thanks to the people who, he explains, have made him survive COVID-19. He tells that there were 14 shifts and that when he entered the ICU there were 97 people of whom 80 have been saved. “Must support public health whatever, it has saved our lives,” he reiterates in El Hormiguero, in his first public appearance.

In his story, with a touch of humor in the purest Resines style, he explains how he has lived the 38 days in the ICU. “I thought that five days had passed, with a small faint and when I woke up, on the twenty-something of January, I was scared,” says the actor.

Resines feels grateful for having come out of this, although he confesses that he still there are sequels left and a lot of work ahead to overcome them. “I have atrophy of 80%”, in addition, he has lost muscle and needs the help of a walker to be able to walk.

For this reason, he insists on the importance of “everyone being vaccinated and taking it seriously, which is a very serious thing”, insists the actor who is still processing the very serious situation of which, at last, he has managed get out.
