“I saw a preliminary version of the film by myself. This month the Warner Bros studio also shared the posters of the multiple villains that will face Batman in this new installment.
Riddle, characterized by paul dano (who was Klitz in the girl next door), seems like a much darker incarnation of the Riddler we normally see in DC fiction. Seemingly inspired by the real-life Zodiac Killer, the Riddler still wears his green colors, but in a much darker shade than his typical bright green. His question mark is also reminiscent of the Zodiac, an infamous serial killer whose identity has never been officially revealed. Dano has spoken out about the dark interpretation of the supervillain. “I liked how solid and big this movie is at the same time,” he told Empire.
“So there are some solid forces like the Zodiac Killer, right? But it’s still The Batman, and it’s so much bigger to me, so it was important to let my imagination react to the script, rather than basing it strictly on a serial killer.”
Riddle He’s not the only threat Batman will have to worry about in the new movie, though he will be the main villain. It is also known that the film will feature Colin Farrell What Oswald Cobblepot, better known as the Penguin, although his screen time is much more limited. However, there are plans to develop that character further in his own spin-off series for HBO Max.
Zoe Kravitz will play a new incarnation of Selina Kyle, the unmistakable Catwoman who hides in this facade to commit robberies. If she’s considered a villain, he’s up for interpretation, as it looks like Batman himself will have some trouble finding out.
