Ecuadorian Chamber Ballet presents the play ‘Romeo and Juliet’ for the month of love

In February, the month of love, friendship and solidarity, the Ecuadorian Chamber Ballet begins its shows in person with one of the emblematic works of love that has transcended all time, the tragedy of William Shakespeare Romeo and Juliet.

The work shows how two young lovers transcend the rigidity of family precepts to the point of committing suicide, seeking to meet in the afterlife. This work will be presented at the Casa de la Música on Saturday, February 12 at 7:00 p.m. and on Sunday, February 13 at 5:00 p.m.

The cost of admission is $15, while $8 is the value of the ticket for seniors and those under 18 years of age. They can be purchased at the House of Music. There will be limited capacity authorized by the national COE and to attend the event it is mandatory to present the vaccination card or digital certificate with two full doses.

The Ecuadorian Ballet will also present, in alternative spaces of the city of Quito during the weekends, the work Ecuador Party, born as a cry of solidarity in the shelters of Manabí and Esmeraldas among the victims of the April 2016 earthquake.
