A total of eight new Bruce Willis films were nominated for the Razzies Awards, or also known as Golden Raspberry, the parody of the Oscars that awards the worst of the film industry.
Faced with this situation, the organizers saw the need to create the new category “Worst Performance by Bruce Willis in a 2021 Movie″which will recognize the performances of last year’s “Die Hard” star.
Willis has played a former police officer, a sheriff, a retired military officer and a former American spy in several low-budget action movies released on streaming platforms.
None got more than 20% positive reviews on the specialized page Rotten Tomatoes. Three of them (“American Siege,” “Apex” and “Out of Death”) received resounding zeros from critics.
Willis, the acclaimed star of such films as “Pulp Fiction” and “Sixth Sense”, appears in the publicity of these recent productions, but on screen, his presence is less.

The Golden Raspberry Awards were first handed out in 1981 in a Los Angeles theater, the brainchild of industry veterans and film graduates of the University of California, Los Angeles, who chose the raspberry as their symbol of ridicule.
