When is the premiere of the next season of Chyłki?
When the premiere of the last episode of the fifth season of the series saw the light of day, viewers began asking about the sixth part of the adventures of the character created by Remigiusz Mróz. Although the creators of the series announced before the start of shooting for the fifth season of “Chyłka” that it would be its last part, its ending caused a lot of confusion among production fans. Because at the end of the fifth season, Langer was arrested and sent to prison, and in the last scene he was visited by an Internal Security Agency officer who made him an offer that could not be refused, the viewers began to ask about the next season of the series. The open ending of the fifth series is certainly a gateway, allowing the creators to pursue new adventures of the series heroes. It could be another season of the series, but Player might as well be preparing a special episode. As you know, the literary original has 14 volumes so far (although the premiere of the next one is coming soon), so there is no shortage of film adaptation material. On the other hand, the creators of the series from the very beginning declared that they did not plan to transfer the entire series to the screen, which they proved by resigning from the screening of the fourth volume, entitled “Immunity”. Representatives of Player.pl, although they announced that the fifth season will be the last, also revealed that “Chyłka” has not said the last word and announced a few surprises for the fans of the series. One of them is certainly a document about the work on the series, entitled “Chyłka – serial phenomenon”.
Where to watch Chyłka?
There are few people who do not know where to watch the series “Chyłka”. The production of Player Original and TVN has been available on the VOD Player platform since December 2018. You can watch all five series there: “Chyłka. Disappearance”, “Chyłka. Cassation”, “Chyłka. Revision”, “Chyłka. Surveillance” and. These are 32 episodes presenting the professional and personal adventures of attorney Joanna Chyłka. The series is also broadcast on TVN: the first season was broadcast in spring 2019, the second season appeared on TV screens in autumn 2020, the third one was shown in spring, and the fourth one – in autumn 2021. The TV premiere of the fifth series of “Chyłka” is scheduled for spring 2022, also on the TVN channel.
Cast of the series “ Chyłka ”
The cast of the series is one of the factors contributing to the success of the screening. Magdalena Cielecka plays the title role in all five series by Magdalena Cielecka, who perfectly reflects the complicated personality of the literary prototype of an unprecedented and recalcitrant lawyer with a bad language. The character’s creator, Remigiusz Mróz, emphasizes in interviews that he cannot imagine the series without Magdalena Cielecka. The actress admits that she gave so much to Joanna Chyłka – and she gave so much to her – that she is afraid that she is no longer able to do more. Being aware that she created a creation good enough to convince the viewers, she would not like to spoil it with subsequent episodes, because she thinks that it could become simply boring for the viewer. The actress would also like to accept new proposals in which she will show herself to viewers from a different side. Therefore, Magdalena Cielecka decided to say goodbye to the production, which probably influenced the announcement of the end of production of the series.
Apart from Magdalena Cielecka, one of the main roles in the series is also played by Filip Pławiak, who plays the role of Kordian Oryński, called by Chyłka the Zordon. The role of the boss of the rebellious lawyer, Artur Żelazny, is played by Szymon Bobrowski, while his business partner, Harry McVay, was played by Jacek Koman in the first four series. The series Kormak is played by Piotr Żurawski, while the role of Piotr Langer junior was played by Jakub Gierszał. In the fifth series, Ireneusz Czop also appears as Commissioner Szczerbiński, as well as Adam Ferency as Tadeusz Tesarewicz, Ewa Wencel as Łucja Tesarewicz, Jan Englert as Prosecutor Bauman, Witold Dębicki as priest Mieleszko and Małgorzata Potocka as Maria Godlewska.
“Chyłka” season 6: Player has not said the last word yet
Taking into account the declarations of the producers and the lead actor, it is unlikely that the 6th season of the series will be created. Player invites you to its VOD platform, where all the episodes of the series are available so far. Also on the Player platform you can watch the documentary “Chyłka – serial phenomenon”, in which the director, screenwriters, actors, producers and fans of “Chyłka” talk about how the series was created. It is possible, however, that these are not all the surprises that Player has prepared for fans of the series based on the prose of Remigiusz Mróz. Perhaps, instead of the next season of Chyłka, a completely new series will be created – its main character could be, for example, Piotr Langer.
