“We want love without barriers.” Mary Komasa and her “Pull Me Up” remixed by Baasch

Mary Komasa’s single “Pull Me Up” takes on an incredible space thanks to the pure electro sounds that are the hallmark of Baasch. – “Pull Me Up” was created out of the need for freedom, in spite of pandemic barriers – says Mary Komasa. – Our world suddenly shut down abruptly and froze, everything became very distant. However, we have not stopped loving or missing, so the need for closeness to another seems stronger now than ever before. We want there to be no boundaries or barriers between us again.

The original clip for “Pull Me Up” was created in absolutely exceptional circumstances – it is a collage of four etudes, love stories from New York, Milan, Cape Town and Warsaw. The music video for the remix is ​​centered around a Warsaw story, shot by Tomek Wierzbicki – a young generation cinematographer, winner of numerous awards – and edited by the talented Ivan Bambalin.

“This is our second musical meeting with Mary,” says Baasch. – Four years ago she appeared on my album in the song “Dare to Take”, for which Bartek Wieczorek made a sensational video. Today Mary invited me to take a new look at her “Pull Me Up”. I hope that our musical paths will cross more than once.

Baasch is a producer, composer, singer, and author of music for films and theater performances. His last album “Noc” was one of the most awarded Polish albums of 2020, it was, among others, honored with Fryderyk in the category of electronic music. Master of the dark climate, which combines beautiful melodies with intriguing, original lyrics and mesmerizing vocals.
