Red Hot Chili Peppers announce a new album with John Frusciante in the line-up. Listen to the single “Black Summer”

– Our goal is to lose ourselves in music. We spent thousands of hours, together and individually, to record the best album we could make. We are grateful that we were able to re-enter the studio together and try to do better once again, say members of the Red Hot Chili Peppers. – For days, weeks and months, we listened to each other, composed, played with each other, arranged, all with care and a specific goal. The sounds, rhythms, vibrations, words and melodies just mesmerized us.

Red Hot Chili Peppers will warm up the spring. “Ready for the Big Wave to Come”

– We wanted to give the world some light, lift people a little and make music connect us all. Each of the songs on “Unlimited Love” reflects our view of the world. This is our mission in life, add Anthony Kiedis, Flea, Chad Smith and John Frusciante. – We are doing everything to be ready for the coming of the big wave. This album is a ride through the sum of our experiences. We hope you like it. Rock it!

The album “Unlimited Love” is promoted by the introspective song “Black Summer”, saturated with hypnotic percussion groove and expressive bass. There was also a juicy guitar solo. The song is accompanied by a music video directed by Deborah Chow, respected in the film world (“The Mandalorian”, “Obi-Wan Kenobi”). The result is a somewhat psychedelic movie clip with some amazing photos.

John Frusciante, who returned to the band after more than 15 years, told a bit about the musical inspirations behind “Unlimited Love” and work on the material:

When we started working on the album, we played old songs from artists such as Johnny “Guitar” Watson, The Kinks, The New York Dolls and Richard Barrett. Over time, we started adding new ideas that gradually turned into full-fledged songs and after a few months we were already playing our new songs. Everything was created effortlessly. We just had a good time playing other people’s songs and creating our own songs at the same time. This album is an expression of love and faith in ourselves.

“Unlimited Love” is also the return of Red Hot Chili Peppers to work with Rick Rubin, who produced for the band such legendary albums as “Blood Sugar Sex Magik” (1991), “Californication” (1999), “By The Way” (2002) or “Stadium Arcadium” (2006). The rich tracklist of the album is as follows:
