The ‘sodera’ passion is revitalized with a tribute concert to Soda Stereo, by the band Dynamo

The show will be this Friday, October 22 at the Centro de Arte theater and tickets are available at the Ticket Show and at the theater box office, for $ 25.

In 2003 Daniel Sais, ex keyboardist for Soda Stereo, conforms to the drummer from Guayaquil Juan Carlos Macio a group that invokes the tunes of the mythical Argentine rock band led by Gustavo Cerati. Daniel had been moved that in Ecuador they continue to listen to the songs of this group, which had already been out of service for years at that time, with the same fervor of its beginnings in the 80remembers Macio.

This passion ‘sodera’, obstinate in remaining ardent, was the necessary spirit to form Dynamo, That this Friday October 22 gets on stage again to perform tribute Soda, as well as the fanatics of these Spanish rock anthems, and in equal measure to the same Know, who passed away in 2018 from cancer.

The show will be in the theater art center and tickets are available at Ticket Show and at the theater box office, for $25.

Dynamo It is a trio, like Soda Stereo, with Macio on drums; Giovanni hernandez, on bass and backing vocals; and Fabrizzio Ferretti, guitar and voice. They do not require a keyboard player invited, as you might think, because Sais will act with them in a symbolic way. “We wanted to commemorate the image of Daniel and feel his presence, using his skeyboard sequences that are recordeds, for this live concert ”, explains the musician. In addition, that is the intention of Dynamo: to deliver to the public a sound as faithful as possible to the original.

Along these lines, this group will also recreate the themes that were integrated into the Last Stereo Soda Tour in 2007, called You will see me come back, What When the shaking passes, You need vitamins and the immortals Of light music and American blinds. He toured Chile, Ecuador, Mexico, Colombia, the United States, Panama, Peru, Venezuela, the United States and Argentina. “It is a tour that compiled all his discography, in its different stages, so it will be a complete show, as the public deserves it”Promises Juan Carlos.

Since its formation, Dynamo has performed this show in other cities in the country, like Manta, Portoviejo, Loja and Machala. In Guayaquil he even opened the concert of the Men G in the Garden of Salsa (2004) and accompanied Green Dwarfs and Vilma Palma and Vampires (2010), in the show Trilogía del Rock Latino, which took place at the city’s Convention Center.
