The online world has become an integral part of everyday life – today everything is just a click away. As it turns out, for Horst Zeiger (Krystian Pesta), clicking is also a decision about the life or death of others. The Internet in his hands is a tool for precise planning of crimes and manipulation of people. Zeiger organizes the Hunger Games and invites you to take part in a bloody show virtually. The man took the children and teachers of one of the city schools hostage, without demanding anything in return. The choice of the victim is left to the viewers, hidden behind computer screens. Will the law enforcement agencies and Gerard Edling (Robert Więckiewicz) manage to prevent the murders? Or maybe outdated police procedures and long-lasting formalities will stand in the way of saving more victims?
“Behaviorist”. Krystian Pesta: There can be a lot of such Horsts around
– The main center of gravity was the fact that there may be a lot of such Horsts around us – says Krystian Pesta in an interview with Gazeta.pl. – A man who does not stand out too much from the crowd, whom we would not suspect of anything after meeting on the street. Today, in the age of the Internet, it is not even known how many there may be. I myself left this character on a hanger a few months ago – it will probably be better anyway.
In order to master the bloodthirsty hero, the forces with the police are joined by the aforementioned Gerard Edling, the title “Behaviorist”. The man played by Robert Więckiewicz is an implacable expert in the field of body language interpretation … and persona non grata in law enforcement agencies in Opole. Due to his expertise, he is unofficially asked to help capture the dangerous Zeiger. Under great time pressure, Edling tries to discover the kidnapper’s motivation and outsmart him. Unfortunately, it turns out that he has hit an equal opponent.
– Horst chooses Gerard as a worthy rival for a reason. Something like the chess game of the most delicious players, where everyone examines each other – says Pesta. – Robert Więckiewicz was a brilliant partner on the set. I couldn’t have dreamed of a better one – for a 29-year-old who is just entering this world, being able to watch someone like that is probably the best science possible. I am grateful to him for many things, including many conversations, which strengthened my understanding of this profession and my way of seeing the world.
What is the meaning of white golf for Krystian Pesta? How was it for him to work with director Łukasz Palkowski again? You will find out by watching our conversation with the actor. “Behawiorysta” is available on Player.pl from 4 January.
