The teacher
With the original title of A teacher, is a miniseries famous in the United States for portraying, in a realistic and delicate way, the relationship between a teacher and her student. Created by Hannah Fidell and based on her film of the same name, the ten-episode series follows the illegal love and sexual relationship between Claire Wilson (played by Kate Mara) and 17-year-old student Eric Walker (played by Nick Robinson). . It all begins when she, a bored wife and English teacher in her thirties, begins her first day of work at a school. There he will meet Eric Walker, who is desperate to get into the university of his dreams. Both talk about the future of the young man, until the attraction becomes inevitable. Before long it will become clear that their illicit affair will have lifelong implications. The series received critical acclaim for the performances of Mara and Robinson, as well as portraying an uncomfortable but little-discussed theme in the industry, particularly from the perspective of the male victims.

Exposition
Denny Navas La Rosa Presents Oblivion at the NASAL gallery, curated by Ana Rosa Valdez. In this exhibition, the artist places visitors before a post-apocalyptic world or a dystopian reality that produces estrangement due to its elusive nature and uncertain temporality. Some of the exhibited pieces are dedicated to reinterpreting the places of experimentation and memory of the natural sciences, such as laboratories, cabinets of curiosities and museums. Others escalate to a deeper register that involves a material substratum: the workforce, industrial infrastructure and productive activity take the place that dystopian landscapes and speculative architecture previously had in Navas’s work. Free entry. The exhibition will remain until February 27 and can be visited from Monday to Saturday, from 2:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., ground floor of the Santana Lofts building, local 1 (Puerto Santa Ana).
