Polish comedy and thriller with foreign stars. Check out the new repertoire of Helios

The first premiere of the weekend is a movie, the title of which speaks for itself: “8 Things You Don’t Know About Men: A comedy about male weaknesses, the power of friendship and love will be prepared, with the heroes of the first part already familiar to the audience. Alicja Bachleda-Curuś, Mikołaj Roznerski, Leszek Lichota, Piotr Głowacki and Zbigniew Zamachowski.

Selected Helios cinemas will also feature “Zaułek nocmarów” / “Nightmare Zaułek”. Director Guillermo del Toro entrusted the roles in this production to stars such as Bradley Cooper, Cate Blanchett, Toni Collette, Richard Jenkins and Rooney Mara. This is an adaptation of the novel by William Lindsey Gresham.

“Santa’s Treasure” will be pre-premiered in 34 cinemas, and “Wiki and its Secret” will be shown in 21.

What apart from the prime minister in Helios?

The film “The End of the World, or Kogel Mogel 4” made quite a mess in Polish cinemas –
from the very beginning it has been breaking popularity records (the best cinematic opening of Polish production since the beginning of the pandemic). The blockbuster also broke into the heights of “Spider-Man. No Way Home,” which is a hit in every country where it is shown. Currently, he is fighting with “Avatar” for the third place among the highest-grossing films of all time. Who has not yet had the opportunity to see Peter Parker in action, can do it in the coming days – production still on the screens.

Just like last week’s premiere – “Gierek”. This is the story of one of the most controversial figures of the 20th century in Polish history. Despite the make-up, viewers will recognize many Polish cinema stars on the screen. Weekend and family time will help fill all viewers with the animals featured in the musical animation that currently reigns on cinema screens. It’s a fantastic adventure with Buster Moon and his crew in the hit movie “Sing 2”.

What about special cycles?

On January 30, the series Film Mornings will present to the youngest viewers the adventures of the most famous locomotive in the world in the film “Thomas and Friends”. Thanks to his diligence, the Tomek steam locomotive is number one and thus an example for others. He is always smiling and willing to help others whenever he can. The screenings organized under the banner of Helios for Children are not only animations, but also competitions with prizes.

On January 31, in the Konesera Cinema series, Helios will present to its viewers the comedy “Boss of the Year” in selected locations. The film shows what a calculating principal is capable of when he wants to achieve his goal. He triggers an unstoppable avalanche of misfortunes. This film is a penetrating study of characters, and at the same time a social satire on the work environment, steeped in biting humor.

On February 3, as part of the Available Culture series, Helios invites you to the film “Najmro. He loves, steals, respects”. Viewers will not have time to catch their breath during the screening with the PRL King of Escapes, as Zdzisław Najmrodzki was called. It is a film with the role of David Ogrodnik and the best Polish music of the 80’s.
