Ea, refuge of poetry

The town of Ea will host the next Saturday and Sunday, January 22 and 23, of the poetry festival “Hey, he lost Ha… town”.

The careful programming will start on Saturday at 12:00. Miren Agur Meabe will offer the talk How to tidy up (my own) room: “A description of the poetics of Miren Agur Meabe. With a nod to the work of Virginia Woolk, she will explain in several steps her way of organizing the creation room: looking for the room, and on the contrary, distributing the space, the lighting, ventilation, furniture, storage…”, they have explained from the organization.

That same day, starting at 7:00 p.m., the short film will be screened “Oak”, shot by Oskar Alegria at Ea itself. A lighthouse marks the rhythm of the film and with it that of memory: three brief flashes of light, four seconds of darkness.

To end the festival, on Sunday, January 23, you can enjoy the show A strange boat between the waves, starring the music Ines Osinaga and the writer Joseba Sarrionandia. In it, the texts written by the writer from Iurreta ten years ago will be recovered so that Ines Osinaga turned them into songs.

All the activities will take place in Eskolondo, and, as the capacity is limited, it will be necessary to withdraw the invitation. There are only places left for the screening of Oskar Alegria’s film.
