Grammy winner, born Marvin Lee Aday, died Thursday night. In the last moments, he was accompanied by his wife Deborah, Deadline’s longtime Meat Loaf agent Michael Greene. He added that the singer Pearl and Amanda’s daughters and close friends also had the opportunity to spend time with him and say goodbye in the last 24 hours. The cause of death has not been disclosed. The family statement reads:
We know what he meant to so many of you, and we truly appreciate all the love and support as we go through this time of regret after losing such an inspiring artist and beautiful man.
