Microtheater
The micro theater space and stand up Beehive starts its first season 2022. Cine Club
This Thursday, at 8:00 p.m., the film club Cinemascape will carry out its traditional cinema conversation. They will present the animated film the city of pirates, led by brazilian Eight War. This film is inspired by comics by cartoonist Laerte. “The story fuses the transitional journey of the artist and the director, who faces death after being diagnosed with cancer.”

Exhibition at the MAAC
Until February 12 it is exposed a retrospective, exhibition that brings together 70 works that describe the artistic career of Olga Dueñas. The exhibition, which is installed in three rooms of the MAAC, takes a journey from 1940 to the present, in which its abstractionism and kineticism stand out. Admission to the exhibition is free at the museum located on Malecón and Loja.

The romantic comedy film premieres on Netflix royal treatment. It tells the story of Izzy, a New York hairdresser who agrees to work at a prince’s wedding. Workshop with Aristides Vargas

The workshop has as its premise the reading, understanding and analysis of theatrical texts. It is aimed at the general public. script workshop
If you are looking for a place to learn how to write your own play or movie script, the acting academy La Mona opens his script workshop with the playwright Jose Miguel Flores. The workshop will begin on January 22 and will be held in virtual mode, every Saturday, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. At the end of the workshop a certificate will be delivered. The cost is $50.
