French actor Gaspard Ulliel dies at 37 in skiing accident

The French actor Gaspard Ulliel has died to the 37 years after suffering a spectacular ski accident. Before he died, he remained hospitalized for one day in a critical condition.

The double winner of the César award was unable to recover from severe head trauma caused by a collision with another skier in the resort of La Rosière, in the French Alps. He had to be rescued by helicopter and transferred to the Grenoble hospital, where he remained until his death.

The Albertville District Attorney has opened an investigation to clarify the causes of the accident on a track in Savoy.

In a brief statement to the media, the artist’s agent has confirmed that Ulliel has died “victim of a ski accident”, when he was enjoying one of his great passions on a blue track, name given to those of low or medium level.

The actor has a six-year-old son with the model Gaëlle Pietri, who a few days ago shared a photo on Instagram skiing with the little one.
