Premiere of the Colombian series ‘Juanpis González – The series’

We all know someone like him: spoiled, arrogant and who thinks he is unpunished for any situation that he himself has caused (the gringos would say he’s so entitled). That’s how he is Juanpis Gonzalez, a character created by Colombian actor and comedian Alexander Riano. According to the artist, the fictional character is a constructive criticism “of what we should not be as human beings.” Juanpis is a thirtysomething who belongs to the highest class in Colombia and among his particularities are being classist, racist, petulant, boastful of brands and luxuries, anti-environmentalist, regionalist, self-centered and politically far-right.

In the series, which distributes Netflix, the young adult must overcome a difficult test imposed by his grandfather to inherit the family fortune, through which he finds what he believes to be his vocation: politics.
