Ozark is back on Netflix. So far with half of the episodes of the farewell season

The plot of the “Ozark” series focuses on the fate of the Byrde family, who must move from the suburbs of Chicago to the Ozark highlands, Missouri to pay off their debt to the drug boss. The series deals with issues related to capitalism, family relations and survival, which we look at from the perspective of not-so-ordinary Americans. The fourth season is the end of this story.

“Ozark” is back. Netflix gave 14 goodbye episodes

This is one of the best-rated Netflix own productions. Due to the pandemic, fans had to be patient – initially it was said that we would see new episodes in 2021, but we had to wait until January 2022.

In the third season, the spouses, Marty and Wendy, grew increasingly divided. While Marty would like to end his cooperation with the cartel as soon as possible, his wife wades more and more into the drug business, feeling that she finally means something. In all of this there are also children who, due to the “occupation” of their parents, do not have a normal life. The last 14 episodes (10 previous seasons each) will show if the family will stay united.

The new season will feature Emmy Award winners: Jason Bateman, Laura Linney and Julia Garner as well as Sofia Hublitz, Skylar Gaertner, Charlie Tahan, Jessica Frances Dukes, Lisa Emery, Felix Solis, Damian Young, Alfonso Herrera, Adam Rothenberg, John Bedford Lloyd, Joseph Sikora, Bruno Bichir, CC Castillo, Katrina Lenk, Bruce Davison, Ali Stroker and Veronica Falcón.

Emmy nominee Chris Mundy returns as showrunner, writer and executive producer. The other executive producers will be Jason Bateman, Mark Williams, John Shiban, Patrick Markey, and Bill Dubuque. Laura Linney will serve as co-executive producer.
