the poems Street map (Ruser Editions, 2020) by the Spanish writer Iker Garcia Simon is an invitation that, in the form of verses and photographs, takes us on a journey through sensations, experiences and memories that become streets, squares, municipalities and landscapes traveled by the author. Thanks to the power of the imagination and the expressive capacity of García, each one of his writings represents an adventure; between lights and shadows, talk about joys, sorrows, illusions, dreams, memories and paths that life gives us.

Iker García’s style is one of the elements that stand out the most when reading Street map, since it has the ability to move the reader through the images that the verses draw.
