A duo of rappers who are stylistically close to each other, but have not yet released a common number. Żabson and Igi unexpectedly uploaded not one, but eight singles to the network and started with a preorder of the album containing 16 songs. The complete version of the album will hit streaming platforms in March; preorder buyers will be able to enjoy the album a little earlier. Okay, but what exactly is this amphisbene?

Amfisbena is a double-headed snake that is even more dangerous than a dragon – and this is what this album is supposed to be like. Work on it began over a year ago, and it was initiated by a joint car concert, for which the first piece of Żaba and Igi was written, “Ziemia na Marsie”. On the “amphibian”, both Young Igi and Żabson often go beyond their own comfort zones. They not only show fresher sides of themselves, but also complement each other perfectly. Żabson and Igi completely gave up the feasts, more than compensating the fans for the lack of common songs.
However, they invited top artists from various fields to collaborate on the album. SHDOW, Sir Michu, Borucci, Pvlace 808 Mafia, Dokkeytino and @atutowy are responsible for the production of the first part of the album. Magdalena Michalak took care of the photo session – her photos show Żabson and Igi in futuristic costumes sewn by the Polish designer 3r_europe. It is worth noting that the fancy costumes were made entirely of recycled materials.
The clip promoting the first part of the album is one of the first music videos in Poland shot with the Venom Motion Control machine, which provides unusual, repeated camera movement. The director of the picture for the first single, “Icey”, is Maciej Adamczak, previously responsible, among others, for “Szafir” and “Rag” Mata and “Backstage” PRO8L3M. The styling prepared by costume designer Martyne Konieczny and stylist Linde Golińska also play a key role. Behind the camera was the reliable Nikodem Marek, who powers the Papaya Films roster.
On the website, fans can buy an amphisbene in three versions – standard, deluxe with a set of stickers, a poster and an exclusive zine prepared by Wiktoria Maciuk aka god.wifi and deluxe with a limited T-shirt with a cover photo. The album was created in cooperation with the Def Jam Recordings Poland label.
