“REGNUM” is the third studio album of Natalia Nykiel after the debut “Lupus Electro” (Gold Album for the Album, Diamond CDs for the singles “Ten Big” and “Error”), the second album “Discordia” (Platinum CD for the single “Spokój”) and The EP “Origo”, for which Natalia received the Fryderyk Award in 2020.
In February, Natalia Nykiel opens the gates to the dystopian world with a new album
Natalia Nykiel has accustomed us to the fact that each of her subsequent albums is a conceptual release. This time, she went a step further and with the help of artists Łukasz Zabłocki and Zuza Słomińska, she created a multidimensional audiovisual world – after entering it, we will understand that nothing will be as obvious to us as we might think.
The artist has so far released four singles announcing the album, which will be released on February 18. “PRIDE” was just a part of the disturbing universe of the new era. The music video, full of colors and understatements, opened the door to the world in which Nykiel moves on the new album. Another single was the psychedelic “Kingdom”, which Natalia took us to the dark corners of her new work. A big surprise after strong electronic singles was the release of the poignant ballad “Epoch X” with a post-apocalyptic music video and the moving “Like You”.
Michał Fox Król was again entirely responsible for the production of the third album. The music was written by Natalia and Fox. The artist is also mostly responsible for the text of the album, one of the lyrics was written by Król. Natalia invited Piotr Rogucki to collaborate on the album, with whom they performed the song “List za Widokrąg”.
