Andrzej Kozioł, former vocalist of the band VOX, died on Thursday at the age of 73. Born in 1949 in Zamość, he joined the VOX band in 1977. Kozioł left the band in 1996. running an art cafe, he also took part in commercials and recorded audiobooks.

Andrzej Kozioł performed on stage with Ryszard Rynkowski, Witold Paszt and Jerzy Słota. The most popular songs of the VOX band are: “Bananowy song”, “Happy road already time” or “Roaring little, roaring”. Among others, ballads, gospel songs, jazz standards, as well as pop and funk songs. Members of the VOX band performed mainly in Poland, but also abroad – incl. in East Germany, USA, West Germany, Cuba and Czechoslovakia.
