Empik 2021 bestsellers introduce a new category. We know the nominated authors and the titles

In addition to the awards for the most-bought titles, the Empik Discovery awards will be presented for the third time. Ewa Szmidt-Belcarz, CEO of Empik Group, explains:

These are awards for talented artists who, last year, made a special mark in the world of literature, music and film, and their creative phenomenon was appreciated by the expert jury. They share a bold and original artistic vision, changing the optics of looking at the world and setting possible directions for the development of native culture. The award contributes to the promotion of these authors and the expansion of the group of their current recipients

This year, for the first time in history, a special Audience Award will be presented. From among all the nominees in 12 categories, Internet users will select one winner – the bestseller of bestsellers, i.e. the best cultural premiere of 2021 in their opinion. Voting in the Empik mobile application starts on February 1 and will last 10 days.

We will find out who the Empik 2021 Bestseller and Discoveries statuettes will receive on February 15. The broadcast of the event on TVN will start at 20.15, while at 19.45 will start online streaming with the coverage from behind the scenes, which will be available on Empik channels on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and YouTube as well as on the Empik.com platform and in the Empik mobile application.
