A year ago Jordi Sánchez had to enter due to a serious infection derived from the coronavirus. The severity was such that he was in an induced coma for 24 days.
Now the actor has explained what he felt after waking up and the consequences it left him this sickness. “One day I fell asleep and after 24 days when I woke up it was as if I were 30 years older“, has indicated in declarations to Antena 3.
Likewise, he has revealed that, after more than three weeks bedridden, “I couldn’t walk, I couldn’t write, I couldn’t do practically anything”, and he acknowledges that this situation taught him that “you can die from one day to the next.”
Upon awakening from the coma, the interpreter came to think that his son had died. “The thing about the induced coma is a horror, you wake up super confused, you don’t know if your delusions are real … it’s a horror,” he explained in Más Vale Tarde last April.
“Everyone was very happy because he had woken up, but I did not understand anything. They were waiting for me to get out of a coma and I was desperate because I was a mess“, he recalled in his interview with this chain.
