PLN 150 million for the new TVP building. Jacek Kurski grabbed a shovel himself

On Monday, January 10, the president of Telewizja Polska announced that the construction of the new TVP building in Warsaw had begun. According to the announcements, the investment is to be ready in two years. Korporacja Budowlana Doraco will be responsible for the construction. The building will be erected in a complex at Woronicza Street in Warsaw.

– The shooting hall, the construction of which we symbolically begin today, is a facility that will give television production a completely new dimension, leave the competition far behind, introduce a new quality in the production of Polish Television and make us independent from external suppliers – said Jacek Kurski, who then grabbed a shovel and thrust it into the ground. – We will be self-sufficient. According to the project, the hall is to be controlled by intelligent Smart systems and “adapted to production processes based on augmented reality and artificial intelligence”. An LED screen will appear on the external facade, which will be able to display images in 3D technology.

Jacek Kurski also announced that “the latest energy efficiency standards” will be applied in the building. Vegetation will be planted on the roof to retain rainwater and reduce energy consumption for air conditioning in the summer.
