Jabari Banks plays the main role in “Bel-Air”, because this is the title of the new production. His hero has a criminal past behind him, which – as it turns out – will pursue him in Bel-Air.
The idea for the series was based on the 2019 short film, in which screenwriter Morgan Cooper imagined what Will’s story could have been like if it had been told a little more seriously than in the 1990 production.
The cast also includes Adrian Holmes and Cassandra Freeman as Uncle Philip and Aunt Vivian, Olly Sholotan as Carlton Banks, Coco Jones and Akira Akbar play Hilary and Ashley – the main character’s cousins. Will Smith is one of the producers of the show.
It is not known whether any TV station or streaming platform will show “Bel-Air” in Poland. The American premiere on Peackock is scheduled for February 13. It is worth noting that entry to our country is planned for this year. In addition to Peackock’s productions, users will also have access to NBCUniversal, Sky and ViacomCBS productions, such as Showtime, Nickelodeon, Paramount Pictures, Paramount + Originals, Sky Studios, and Universal Pictures
