Bob Saget’s tragic family history: two of his sisters died nine years apart

The comedian and actor was found dead Sunday in a Ritz-Carlton hotel room in Orlando.

Bob Saget passed away alone this Sunday in a hotel room in Orlando (Florida). For now, the causes of the death of the 65-year-old actor and comedian who was on a comedy tour entitled I Don’t Do Negative are unknown.

Two of her sisters died nine years apart, one from a brain aneurysm and the other from an autoimmune disease, according to Mail Online, confirming a tragic family history.

Bob Saget lost both of his sisters to natural causes. Andrea died in 1985, at the age of 35, of a brain aneurysm and Gay died in 1994, at the age of 44 when she was a professor in Philadelphia, after being diagnosed with the autoimmune disease scleroderma.

Comedy tour

Just last Wednesday he spoke about his evolutionary approach to comedy, his influential mentor and his days as a student at Temple University in Philadelphia in what would be his last interview before his shocking death.

The Full House star and comedian was found dead Sunday in a Ritz-Carlton hotel room in Orlando, LA officials tweeted. Orange County Sheriff’s Office, Florida, and added that “there were no signs of foul play or drug use in this case.” A toxicological test is expected to be carried out.

Saget was touched when asked about Lew Klein, the late American Bandstand producer and Temple University professor who died at the age of 91 in June 2019. “You’re going to make me cry, he was like a father to me.” Saget said of Klein, noting that it helped him break into show business by landing him an internship on The Mike Douglas Show. “That was my first indoctrination into show business, I was 19 years old,” Saget said, praising Klein for her concern for students in an educational career that spanned more than six decades.
