Zendaya reminds: “Euphoria” is not a series for everyone

Long gone beyond the Disney star stage, Zendaya stars 17-year-old Rue, addicted to drugs and lost in the world, in “Euphoria”.

Zendaya on “Euphoria” ahead of HBO premiere: Only watch it if you’re comfortable with it

The 25-year-old wrote on Instagram:

I know she said it before, but remember that ‘Euphoria’ is for adults. This season, perhaps even more so than the previous one, is very emotional and touches upon topics that can evoke different emotions and be difficult to watch. Please only watch it if you are comfortable with it.

“Take care of yourself and know that no matter what, you are loved and I feel your support. With love, Daya” – she finished her entry.

HBO’s three Primetime Emmy Award-winning series with an eight-episode season (the first episode of the series is available on HBO GO today). In “Euphoria” by Sam Levinson, as the creators say, among the many intertwining personal stories in the city of East Highland, 17-year-old Rue (Zendaya) must find hope while balancing between the pressure of love, loss and addiction.

In the second season of “Euforia” will again appear: Zendaya, Hunter Schafer, Nika King, Eric Dane, Angus Cloud, Jacob Elordi, Algee Smith, Sydney Sweeney, Alexa Demie, Barbie Ferreira, Maude Apatow, Javon Walton, Dominic Fike, Storm Reid and Austin Abrams.

The series “Euphoria” is partly inspired by Israeli production and partly based on the personal experiences of its creator, Sam Levinson (son of director Barry Levinson), who struggled with drug addiction for years.
