“Full House” says goodbye to Bob Saget. Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen: He was a wonderful, loving man
Viewers around the world got to know Saget mainly thanks to the comedy series “Full House”, in which the actor played the role of Danny Tanner, a widower raising three daughters with the help of his immediate family and friends. The youngest of the girls, Michelle, were played alternately by Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, who wrote in a statement to USA Today:
Bob was the most loving, empathetic, and generous man. We are deeply saddened that he is no longer with us, but we know that he will still be with us. We think of his daughters, wife and family and express our condolences to them.
Candace Cameron Bure, who in “Full House”, played the role of DJ, Danny’s eldest daughter, spoke in a similar vein. Saget was also present in the series “Full House” (2016), where the first fiddle is played by an adult DJ, dealing with her family on her own after her husband’s death. “I don’t know what to say. I have no words. Bob was one of the best people I have ever met. I loved him so much,” we read on Bure’s Twitter profile.
A few words on Twitter were also shared by John Stamos, the series’ uncle Jesse, who was close friends with Saget also off-screen. “It broke me. I’m totally shocked. I’ll never have a friend like him again. I love you very much, Bobby,” writes Stamos.
“I have a broken heart. I love you, Bob. Your brother forever, Dave” – this is the entry by Dave Coulier, who plays the role of Joey Gladstone, friend of Danny.
In addition to the cast of “Pełnej Chata”, he shared his emotions related to the death of Bob Saget on the Internet, incl. John Mayer, the actor’s friend. “I love you, Bob. I will never forget you. I will visit you often in my memories and I hope to see you in my dreams. I will tell my children about you. I take you with me forever. I love you, Bob” – wrote the musician .
