Bob Saget has died at 65.
According to the celebrity news portal TMZ, multiple sources connected to the iconic comedian and actor, most famous for his starring role as Danny Tanner in Full House, they said that he died this Sunday, January 9, at the hotel Ritz-Carlton in Orlando.
The Sheriff’s Department and the fire department responded to the hotel around 4:00 p.m. local time after facility security found the lifeless body in his room. He was pronounced dead at the scene, but the circumstances of his death are still unclear.
Bob had been touring the country lately, visiting various destinations throughout the state of Florida, including Orlando, which started in September and was supposed to run through May. Saturday night he was in Jacksonville he put on a show at the Ponte Vedra Concert Hall which lasted until the earliest hours of Sunday.

Saget played the patriarch on the hit ABC sitcom for nearly 10 years, landed the lead star role in 1987 and finished his first character in 1995, alongside stars John Stamos, Dave Coulier, and of course “his daughters from tv, ”Candace Cameron, Jodie Sweetin and Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, who swapped roles to play Michelle.
In addition to his fame as a stand-up comedian and in Full House, Saget will also be remembered as a fan favorite on America’s funniest videos, on which he served as host from 1989 to 1997. He became Mr. Tanner once again for the Netflix franchise reboot, Fuller House, which lasted 4 years and ended in 2020.
