In a new book Ismael Cala shares his philosophy of “flow so as not to suffer”

The book emphasizes the understanding that “our existence is eternal, innocent, loving and full of joy,” says Cala.

The journalist and television presenter of Cuban origin Ismael Cala just released the book Flow so as not to suffer: 11 principles to transform your life (Aguilar), in which he synthesizes his leadership philosophy with the account of “personal anecdotes and examples from real life.”

“This book opens the window to this fascinating world of deep and simple questions, questions that invite us to design a route with intentionality and guarantee us our belonging to this dual and three-dimensional reality”says Cala, winner of the 2013 Ibero-American Personality Award, who resides in Miami (Florida, USA).

The writer and lecturer, who teaches successful courses and workshops on social entrepreneurship and “mindfulness” (consciousness) all over the world, stresses that the book emphasizes the understanding that “our existence is eternal, innocent, loving and full of joy.”

Cala explains what he calls “The 11 principles of the bamboo leader: integrity, versatility, flexibility, collaboration, spirituality, exponentiality, serene strength, passion, resilience, gratitude and awareness-elevation”.

Accompany the reader in the unveiling of these principles and in “How through them the path towards the transformation of the human being into a leader capable of beginning to make a difference in his life and in that of others is traveled.”

For more than five years, the writer presented the CALA program on CNN in Spanish, becoming one of the most beloved and influential communicators in the Americas.

Cala has Canadian and American nationality, lives in the United States. He is a journalist, writer, radio producer, television presenter, lecturer, businessman, and social entrepreneur.

He is the author of the books The power of listening, Life is a piñata, The emotional illiterate, A good son of P …, The secret of bamboo Y Wake up with Cala.

In October of last year, he visited Ecuador to give his well-known leadership talks. “I think no one fully teaches us to face life, however, we come prepared with tools to face life, such as resilience,” he said at that time for this newspaper. (I)
