From the point of view of the law of the Catholic Church, strictly understood divorce does not exist. A contracted marriage is indissoluble. It often happens, however, that the conditions necessary for a marriage to be valid have not been met. In such cases, a lot of emphasis is placed on the right interview. Church divorce is possible when the necessary requirements for marriage have not been met. They include: obstacles to getting married, defect in marriage consent, shortcomings in the form of getting married.
Jacek Kurski’s second church wedding

Until 2015, Jacek Kurski was married to Monika Kurska, with whom he had three children. After the divorce, he could not receive the sacrament of marriage again in the church, but thanks to the bishops who had annulled his previous marriage, it became possible.
Cezary Pazura twice filed for a church divorce
Cezary Pazura has been creating a happy relationship with his wife Edyta for many years. Hardly anyone remembers, however, that the actor has already been married twice. Pazura’s first marriage ended in a church divorce. The actor managed to prove that even before the wedding, his first wife attended a psychologist. It was a premise for annulment of the wedding. The second wife of the actor was Weronika Marczuk. The actor was also supposed to seek the church annulment of this relationship, but this time he failed.
Wojciech Cejrowski and Beata Pawlikowska
The couple got married in 1994. It turns out, however, that Cejrowski and Pawlikowska have never been married. Due to the failure to observe certain formalities, their marriage never existed in the light of church law. – Although the wedding took place in the church, the documents were not submitted to the registry office. Officially, I am and always have been a virgin in Polish documents. That is why there was no divorce after that, and the wedding was simply annulled by the bishops’ court, Pawlikowska said in an interview with “Viva”.
Katarzyna Skrzynecka: It all took over six years
Also, Katarzyna Skrzynecka and her former husband, Zbigniew Urbaski, managed to annul the church wedding. – It all took over six years. The procedure for declaring an ecclesiastical marriage null and void in canon law is very long. My case has already been successfully completed and I think that both me and my ex-husband will be able to arrange their lives independently – said the actress in an interview with “Dobre Tygodnia”.
