The day has come when the Three Kings spread illusion through the streets of our cities. After the event was canceled last year, the Three Wise Men return to Madrid today, January 5, at 6:00 p.m.. Even so, Melchor, Gaspar and Baltasar will not be able to walk freely, since the restrictions will be protagonists in the parade of this 2022.
Although the capital has decided to celebrate the Three Kings parade, the increase in coronavirus cases in recent weeks has led the City Council to take certain measures. To guarantee the safety of the families, they have decided to apply a capacity limitation of 7,000 people launching the sale of free tickets.
What’s more, no candy will be thrown from the floats and the route has been modified. This year, the Kings of the East will depart from Nuevos Ministerios until they reach Plaza Cibeles; the route will have a total of three kilometers.
From the City Council they remember the mandatory use of masks and the Consistory has called for only people who have the entrance and the reserved seat to appear.

The cavalcade of the Magi returns to the capital with a new route. This 2022, Melchor, Gaspar and Baltasar They will leave from Nuevos Ministerios at 6:00 p.m. and they will walk through the streets of the city until they reach Plaza Cibeles to finish the parade at approximately 9:00 p.m.

In order to celebrate a safe event, on January 3 the Madrid City Council launched the sale of free tickets. The people of Madrid had 7,000 seats available to attend the event.
Well, if you haven’t gotten any tickets yet, you’ll have to follow the broadcast of the parade from home, since the tickets are sold out. The tickets were launched at 11:00 a.m. and approximatelye 12 minutes later, there was no ticket available on the web.
The City Council has thanked the interest shown by all Madrilenians and specify that the decision has been made to do so by reservation in order to avoid crowds.
