Lyzbeth Badaraco and Jenny Villafuerte collaborate on a new single entitled ‘Azules y violetas’

The young Ecuadorian pianist and composer Lyzbeth Badaraco (@lyzbadaraco) is undoubtedly one of the most prominent representatives of her instrument in independent national music. In 2018 he released his debut album 93, which he was able to present in different concerts and later served as the basis for a documentary called 93: stories told through a piano, directed by Guido Bajaña Yude, where the process of carrying out the project is shown in an introspective way.

Lyzbeth has been active during the pandemic with respect to music and art, just on the eve of the end of the year 2021 she decided to publish a song with one of her most frequent collaborators, the singer Jenny Villafuerte (@jennyvillafuertemusic), with whom has shared the stage repeatedly. Of course, it should be noted the participation of the excellent double bass player Geovanna Badaraco (@geovannabadaraco).

Available on digital distribution platforms, this new single tries to show how important it is to convey the essence of those deep feelings that can be forgotten or belittled because of everyday life. An emotional lyrical composition reflects possibilities to deal with sadness and heartbreak. Blues and violets It is a warm bolero that evokes airs of nostalgia and at the same time has a timeless sound aesthetic; Its melody could recall a classic of the genre, however, the impeccable piano performance, the subtle double bass arrangements and the firm voice give it its own imprint and indisputable identity.
