Euskaltzaindia adds 692 texts to the compendium on linguistic rights in Basque

Euskaltzaindia has presented the third edition of the project ‘Linguistic law. Text collection in Basque‘(Linguistic law. Compendium of texts in Basque).

The objective of this work is to compile the documents related to the linguistic rights of Euskaldunes in a single digital medium, so that they can be used by both speakers and researchers on the subject, whether they are lawyers or lawyers.

This third edition, in which lawyers Gotzon Lobera and Santiago Larrazabal have worked, as well as the president of Euskaltzaindia, Andrés Urrutia, presents several novelties.

To begin with, the corpus has gone from having 94 texts to compiling 786, that is, they have been incorporated 692 new texts to the whole. In addition, there are changes that affect the geographical scope, the content itself, the structuring of the work …

The corpus can be consulted on the Euskaltzaindia website (euskaltzaindia.eus).
