When are 2022 days off and will every employee benefit from them?
The Labor Code makes it clear, if there is a normally non-working day, the employee must first be given a day off for work on that day. This day off must be granted to him in the 6 consecutive days following this Sunday. If this is not possible, such a day off must be used by the end of the billing period. It does not change the fact that there are people who will have to work on public holidays. They include, among others:
- lifeguards
- drivers
- doctors
- uniforms (e.g. policemen)
- employees of general stores
What are the days off for 2022? That’s as many as 13 holidays!
