Yola Czaderska-Hayek, actually Jolanta Maria Czaderska-Hayek was born in 1945 in Tarnów. She graduated from Polish studies at the Pedagogical Academy in Krakow. During her student times she ran a common room, where she organized meetings with artists. Thanks to her activity, she met the American pilot, Edwin Hayek. The couple fell in love quickly, and Yola went to the United States.
