If you love pasta dishes, but at the same time you feel like something new, choose an unusual dish that once ate in the bonds. The simplicity of skills and performance makes both cooking and tasting are pure pleasure.

Prison pasta, or rather Alla Carcerrata paste, is a classic of Italian cuisine. Despite the original name, it impresses with an unusual combination of flavors. It gets fast, relatively easy and goes out really delicious. Forget about Carbonar or Bolognese. Now this version is certainly cooking the kitchen.

Prison pasta is a delicious way to dinner. You only need a few ingredients

The recipe for Alla Carcerrata paste was created in Italian prisons, where they were prepared from inexpensive and easily available ingredients. Today, in a slightly more refined version, it is a popular dish of Neapolitan cuisine, which is worth knowing. Just remember that it contains alcohol, so it is not suitable for children. What will you need?

Ingredients:

  • 350-400 g of pasta, preferably penne, i.e. tubes, although also rigatoni (or other favorite),
  • 2-3 lock of white, raw sausage,
  • 3-4 shallots or 1 medium-sized onion,
  • 250 g of puree,
  • 200 ml of cream cream,
  • 1/3 cup of dry wine (or cognac),
  • strong cheese, e.g. Parmesan cheese,
  • olive oil,
  • Salt and pepper,
  • Optional: parsley to sprinkle.

How to make delicious pasta? This one will be insanely tomato

Start preparing prison pasta with water attitude and cubes chopping on the onion. Put it into a pan with hot olive oil. In the meantime, peel the sausage and cut into small pieces. When the onion is browned, add the meat and fry until it becomes gray. What next?

  1. Pour alcohol into the pan with sausage and fry until it evaporates.
  2. Put the pasta into boiling and salted water and prepare it according to the recipe on the packaging.
  3. Then add the tomato puree, mix and simmer covered for 15 minutes. Spices as desired.
  4. When the time passes, add the cream and simmer again, but this time not longer than 5 minutes. The sauce should thicken nicely.
  5. Strain the cooked pasta, rinse, put in a pan with sauce and mix properly.
  6. Serve sprinkled with your favorite cheese and optionally parsley. Enjoy your meal!
