In many municipalities, people living in single -family houses can try to reduce garbage -related fees. For this, however, they must put on a composter and use it regularly. Then all they have to do is submit an appropriate declaration at the office. It is worth knowing, however, that later they can knock on them to check if they actually met all the conditions. It turns out that soon officials will knock on people who benefit from discounts.

Pursuant to the regulations, and more precisely the Act on maintaining cleanliness and order in municipalities (Article 6k, item 4a), the owners of single -family residential buildings can count on release from some fees related to municipal management. A prerequisite for obtaining a discount is composting bio -ways in home composters. This means that if you set up a composter in the garden or on the plot, you will use it, report this fact to the municipality and make an appropriate declaration, pay less for garbage.
What relief for having a composter? The amounts depend on the commune
What specifically a type of bio -way (all, or maybe only part) should be composted, It depends on the requirements of a given commune. In some, you can still use a brown container and removal of this type of waste, in others you will be forced to give them up for an ecological solution.
The height itself is also dependent on the decision of the commune. As reported by regodom.pl, in Czernichów owners of the composter will pay 8 zlotys per person less every month, while in Rajcza it will be 10 zlotys. However, people who have decided on a discount related to having a composter must remember that in connection with this they can be controlled. As it turns out, this year some are starting in March. During the visit, officials will check whether there is a composter in the reported property and whether it contains bio -daddies. It is worth remembering that pits and concrete tanks limiting air access do not meet the standards. If the conditions are not met, a resident may lose the right to a relief.
