You must not throw clothes anymore, so InPost came up with an idea. Parcelberry fans will be delighted

On January 1, 2025, he entered into an order for a selective collection of textiles. Applies to used clothing, carpets, blankets, poles, pillows and a colon. To make Poles segregated, inpost came up with an original idea. He launched ecozwrots.

From the beginning of the year, each municipality has been obliged to establish at least one PSZOK (selective municipal collection point) in its area. Poles do not have to have a new container for used textiles, but they should collect them and give them back to it. According to GOV.pl, there is 11 kg of textile waste per one person per person.

How to give back inpost clothes? You won’t pay a zloty for it

Most of the textile waste goes to the landfills and pollute the environment, which is why new ones were introduced. However, not everyone smiles regularly going to PSZOK. InPost decided to reach out to such people. If products (e.g. clothing or shoes) are in good condition, you can give them free of charge via the parcel locker.

Complete the package with unused but efficient things. In APKA InPost Mobile, select “Return” and then “Give to the Foundation”. Enter the return code on the package and put it in the cache. The items sent are verified. Some of them go to reuse or charity, and those who cannot be repaired are recovered raw materials

– the company informed on its Facebook profile.

Where to give back clothes? Use the DPD offer

Ekozwrots have been operating since 2021, but at the beginning they only included electrical and electronic equipment. It is worth using the new option, because for throwing textiles into mixed waste there is a fee for garbage collection for the entire housing community. InPost is not the only company that has decided on such a solution. DPD offers a similar option. As you can read on their official website, “at the DPD Pickup packages and packages you can send clothes, footwear and accessories for free, which will go to the brand to give away and will be introduced into the second circulation.” In addition, for each kilo of items transferred to the account of the foundation you choose, financial resources are then sent.
