Many of us have holiday plans in the first months of the new year. What foreign holiday destinations would be the most popular this year? The answer to this question can be found in the latest report prepared by the ESKY online travel agency.

As we learn from the latest Esky list, Every second traveler organizing holidays with the platform (in the Hotel Plus LOT option) will go to Spain (27 percent) or Greece (25 percent) this year. In the case of Spain, the most popular are: Costa Brava (including Lloret de Mar, Malgrat de Mar), Costa Dorada, Costa Blanca (e.g. Benidorm) and Majorca. However, when it comes to Greece, travelers from Polish most often choose: Kassandra Peninsula in the Chalkidiki, Korfu, Rhodes and Crete region. Italy took third place in the ranking. This direction is responsible for 13 percent of all holiday reservations at the ESKY online travel agency. The most popular are: Rimini, the Bari region, Sardinia and Sicily. In turn, the fourth and Friday was taken by Malta and Cyprus. Their share in the ranking is 19 percent. holiday travel reserved so far. In Malta, Qawra, Mellieh and Sliem are the biggest sensation. In Cyprus, however, the most reservations fall on Pafos, Ayia Napa and Peyia.

Interestingly, Türkiye took the last place in the ranking. However, it is worth remembering that this country usually has much higher positions in the popularity of all inclusive holiday trips organized by travel agencies. It is also similar in the case of Bulgaria, which in the mentioned ranking (LOT plus hotel) took seventh place.

The creators of the report note that recently many people are planning holidays much earlier. This year, the trend of booking trips at least three months before departure is even clearer than before. – Our last year’s survey with the GFK agency confirmed that the largest group of Polish respondents (42 percent) prefers to book a holiday in advance more than three months, While one -third plans a longer rest from 30 to 90 days earlier – explains Deniz Rymkiewicz, an expert from Esky.pl.
