The butter has been enjoying the most important for years among the fixtures of a healthy style of life. Despite this, many of us are difficult to imagine sandwiches without this type of addition. So what can we replace traditional butter? Here are three healthier suggestions.

  • A large handful of basil leaves;
  • 2 tablespoons of grated Parmesan cheese;
  • 1 clove of garlic;
  • 1/4 cup of olive oil;
  • 2 tablespoons of pine nuts, chopped cashews or almonds without shells;
  • 1 tablespoon of lemon juice;
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste.

How to prepare such homemade pesto? Here is a simple recipe step by step. First, roast nuts in a dry frying pan. Then put all the ingredients in a blender bowl and blend for a while until they combine and crushed. We add nuts. Mix everything with a spoon.
