PiS and the president face a similar problem. The weekend meeting with Trump could have been a chance to change his approach to Ukraine, which is why TV Republika decided to report everything live. And that was a mistake.
TV Republika showed an hour and a half of Andrzej Duda’s walk
Donald Trump was late to meet Andrzej Duda. Our president was walking around the living room for an hour and a half, which was shown live on TV Republika. The Republika TV team – Tomasz Sakiewicz and Michał Rachoń, whose brother co -organized Duda and Trump’s meeting came to the States with Duda. Meanwhile, journalists in Poland criticize the way the meeting of the presidents. Patryk Michalski from Wirtualna Polska writes that broadcasting Duda’s walks, encircling the table and conversations with a group of Poles, convincing that the meeting would last about an hour, informing viewers that “President Donald Trump will arrive with a helicopter to meet with President Andrzej Duda” – was doing jokes from our head of the state. “TV Republika did not take the president seriously” – I’m writing.
