Every year, Cádiz dresses up for many, many days before the rest of the cities celebrate the Carnival. The official carnival grouping contest (COAC) of Cádiz is an entire institution, followed by hundreds of Cadiz and each time, by more people from other points of the Spanish geography. And the closer the official date of the carnival, the closer we are to know what are the chirigotas, comparsas, choirs and quartets most prominent of the year.
