The City Council of Vitoria and the Provincial Council of Álava have signed a collaboration agreement for the implementation of the ‘Vitoria-Gasteiz Araba Film Commission’, a service that will facilitate the efforts of the audiovisual producers and help them find the best locations .

The agreement arises motivated by the rise of the audiovisual sector in Vitoria and Álava, as well as the remarkable increase in the number of audiovisual productions developed in the territory, after the implementation of tax incentives.

In 2023 five feature films were shot in Álava, last year they were twenty and this year promises to be a year also full of filming. Among the last films shot in the territory are “Gaua”, “Sacamancas” and “El Evil”, by Juanma Bajo Ulloa.
