TVN again hosted Empik bestsellers. The solemn gala was hosted by Marcin Prokop, and the materials from behind the scenes were prepared by Gabi Drzewiecka and Karol Paciorek. This year, the organizers of the event focused on diversity and very interesting musical duets. They performed on the stage Margaret together with Małgorzata Ostrowskathe artists performed the iconic “Meluzyna”, in turn Krzysztof Zalewski with Maria Peszek They presented a joint interpretation of the song “Płady”. The star of the gala was Damiano David, The vocalist of the Maneskin group, who first made solo material in Poland.
Empik 2024 bestsellers. Who won?
Empik bestsellers are important awards for creators because they are awarded by the audience, this year as much as 50 million Empik customers. The works of the winners of the statuettes are the most frequently chosen and bought titles in terms of book, film, music and audio. Also the title of the creator of the year was awarded by readers, viewers and listeners using the application.
This year the prizes were awarded to 13 categories. Among them there were three about the creators of the year – the statuettes were collected – the writer, artist and creator. In addition, a special jury also selected Empik’s discoveries awarded to those who, according to experts, deserve to reach a wider audience. The prizes to discover Empik 2024 were awarded in three subcategories: Music, literature and film.
