Intensive inspections have started. Visit Poles and give documents even 5 years ago

Does “clean air” do controls? Despite the temporary suspension of the program, the reasons for the grant are checked. Inspectors can give documents even from before. In the event of incorrect, high penalties are threatened.

The “Clean Air” program is the first nationwide initiative supporting the replacement of old furnaces and thermomodernization of single -family houses, aimed at fighting smog. From November 28, 2024 to March 31, 2025, there is a break in accepting new applications for co -financingwith the exception of people injured as a result of September floods in the Lower Silesian, Lubuskie, Opole and Śląskie voivodships.

Does “clean air” do controls? Increased actions are underway

People who have used subsidies under the national thermomodernization may expect a visitors’ visit. They focus primarily on a selected group of beneficiaries who received funds after April 22 last year (every 20 household). Inspections apply not only to the stage of project implementation, but also a period of up to five years after its completion.

The National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management and/or the Provincial Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management may check the projects independently, or by external entities from the moment of submitting the application for co -financing, during implementation and in the so -called 5 years of durability, calculated from the date of completion of the investment.

What are they checking?

  • The legitimacy of the subsidy – whether the applicant has met the requirements for income and the number of households.
  • Use of funds – Did the funds go to declared goals.
  • Investment place – the need to provide documentation and enable real estate control.

What penalties from “clean air”? In case of irregularities, there are consequences

Increased controls are aimed not only in detecting abuse, but also transparency and effectiveness of the program. For beneficiaries, they depend on the type of irregularity and can be severe. For example, the lack of liquidation of an old furnace or lowering income may result in the need to return the subsidy with interest. Possible consequences are Return of subsidies, reduction of funding or additional financial sanctions. If the fault is detected, beneficiaries may be charged to control.
