The batteries also include valuable raw materials, such as zinc, manganese and nickel, whose resources are limited, and their extraction often leads to the degradation of the environment. Incorrect utilization prevents the recovery of these raw materials and their reuse. This means irrevocable loss of strategic substances and elements, whose resources are caused.
