However, they have a minus, namely single pieces are really big. What if a smaller one is enough for us, but breaking it from a roll is very troublesome? It is worth using a banal trick.
Well, after buying paper towels, I take one roll and cut it with a knife in such a way that I have two more, but smaller. Generally, they match the rollers of toilet paper, with the difference that they still brilliantly fulfill their function and are much more absorbent and less susceptible to tear. Thanks to this, with slight dirt, I do not have to use the whole, large piece that would then land in the basket. According to the “less waste” principle, or waste less, I generate less, and at the same time a penny will always be saved.

This is not the only reason why I cut a roll of paper towels in half. In addition, I sometimes prepare moisturized cloths for one -time use. For this purpose, I put one part into a container with a lid, pour 1/4 cup water with the addition of fragrant rinsing fluid (or essential oil) and I am waiting for the paper to absorb the mixture completely. When this happens, he is ready for use. The fact that paper towels are slightly thicker and more resistant to the hipper means that they fulfill themselves perfectly in this role.
