A perfect series for lovers of dark detective stories has been reigning on Polish for almost a week. “Murders in are” chased the Polish hit “support” in the statistics, new episodes of “Cobra Kai” or “apple cider vinegar” enjoying more and more popular About a woman who pretended to beat cancer thanks to natural methods.
A dark crime story with a new hit of Polish Netflix. Critics recommend
“Murders in ARE” is a Scandinavian thriller, which in the description resembles most of this type of production. A small town, darkness, forest, crime and the main heroine battered by life. The new Netflix series tells the story of the Stockholm policewoman who moves to the holiday home of her sister in åre. Hanna Ahlander quickly gets involved in the local case related to the disappearance of a teenager. Instead of resting after parting and escaping from trouble at work, he starts searching. Local policeman Daniel Lindskog, struggling with family problems and a deficiency of staff, reluctantly agrees to her help. However, they both don’t know if they can trust each other.
In Poland, the reviews of the series are rather strict. “Although the production is so guided that it swallows five episodes in a moment, it does not quite positively fall out when we begin to look closer to it. This is a work that works as a background” – writes Kamil Dachnij from Onet. In turn, foreign critics are delighted.
“What not to love here”?
At Rotten Tomatoes the series won 80 percent. Positive ratings from both viewers and verified reviewers. “I really like this short form and dynamic atmosphere,” writes Archyse Sengupta of Leisurebyte.com. In turn, Dustin Rowles from Pajiba.com appreciated the production formula for presenting several smaller investigations, instead of typical of this type of series, focusing one case. “Macabre murders, stuffy, harsh atmosphere. What not to love here?” – he asks rhetorically.
Johnny Loftus praises the series for beautiful photos and “concluding all the characteristics of the Nordic detective story.” He assures that the series is worth watching and can very involve.
